How it works
Mituda doesn't book on your behalf and doesn't take prepayment. We put you in touch with a specific person, a driver or a guide, and keep a record of your request until you meet.
In short: you find a trip → send a request → arrange the details on WhatsApp → travel and pay in person. Here is how it works step by step, including what happens if the driver or guide doesn't reply.
Step 1. Choose a trip
The catalogue has tours and transfers across Georgia. Every listing shows who will actually take you: the driver's or guide's name and photo, not just a rating. There are no anonymous offers.
Step 2. Send a request
The button on the listing names the person, for example "Message Guram on WhatsApp". We don't say "Book now", because there is no booking until you have agreed things with the person.
Before WhatsApp opens, you can add your name, phone number, dates and group size. This is optional: without contact details the button simply opens the chat. If you do fill them in, we will:
- give your request a code, for example
GE-2608-114; - add that code to the message, so the driver or guide knows right away which trip you mean;
- create a request page you can come back to at any time.
Step 3. Arrange it on WhatsApp
A chat opens with a ready-made message: what you're interested in, when, and how many of you there are. From there you agree everything directly: time, meeting point, who's coming, any wishes. The trip is confirmed by the driver or guide in the chat, not by the website.
Nothing is charged. There is no payment on the site; you pay in person.
Step 4. Your request page
If you left your contact details, your request gets its own page. It shows:
- what you asked for: the service, date, group size and the price at the time of the request;
- who you are dealing with: name, photo, verification mark and a link to their profile;
- what happens next: the driver or guide replies, you agree the details, you pay in person;
- the "No response?" button: if the driver or guide is quiet for longer than usual, press it and we will contact them ourselves or help you find someone else.
You can copy the link to the page and keep it for the day of the trip.
This isn't a booking in the usual sense. We can't guarantee a place, because there is no prepayment and we play no part in payment. But the terms of your request are on record, so if you're quoted a different price on the day, you have something to point to.
Step 5. The trip and paying in person
You pay the driver or guide directly; agree the payment method with them in advance. We take nothing from that amount.
Step 6. A review after the trip
Not just anyone can leave a review. After the trip you get a personal invitation on WhatsApp with a one-time link. It's slower than an open review form, but every review on Mituda was written by someone who actually took the trip.
If nobody replies
That isn't a dead end. On your request page there is a "No response?" button that goes straight to the Mituda team. We'll contact the driver or guide, suggest a replacement, and if it keeps happening, remove them from the catalogue. What we can and can't do in a dispute is covered on How we vet providers.
If you are a driver or guide
The Mituda catalogue grows through personal introductions; there is no open sign-up. Want to work with us? Write through the form on the contacts page or at info@mituda.com and we'll arrange to meet. How we choose people is explained on How we vet providers.
