Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This page explains what data the Mituda website collects, why we need it and what happens to it. We try to collect only what we need to put you in touch with a driver or guide and to answer your questions.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Your data is handled by the team behind the Mituda service (mituda.com). For any question about your data, write through the form on the contacts page or at info@mituda.com.
2. What data we collect
When you send a request or write to us through a form:
- your name;
- your phone or WhatsApp number;
- your email address, if you give one (it's optional);
- trip details from the request: the service, dates, group size, your comment;
- your consent to receive our newsletter, if you tick that box.
Automatically when you visit the site:
- your IP address and technical request data, to protect our forms from spam and abuse;
- where you came from and which page you sent the request from, so we understand how people find us;
- analytics data and cookies; see Cookies for details.
We don't take payments and don't store payment details. You pay the driver or guide directly.
We don't collect or store documents such as passports, driving licences, permits or vehicle papers. This applies to travellers and to drivers and guides alike. We check drivers and guides in person, with nothing uploaded to the site.
3. Why we use this data
- to pass your request to the driver or guide so they can contact you;
- to show you your request page without creating an account;
- to answer your message and help if the driver or guide doesn't reply;
- to invite you to leave a review after the trip;
- to send seasonal news and ideas, only if you agreed to it;
- to understand which places and services are in demand and improve the service.
4. Who we share data with
- The driver or guide handling your request: your name, contact details and trip details, so they can get in touch and carry out the trip.
- Analytics services Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics: technical data about your visit, without your name or phone number.
- Public authorities: only where the law specifically requires it.
We don't sell data and don't share it for advertising.
5. Your request history
If you contact us more than once, we link those requests by phone number or email. That way nothing gets lost and you don't have to explain everything again. There are no personal accounts at the moment: only the Mituda team sees this history, and you see your own request page through its link.
6. Reviews
You can only leave a review through a personal invitation sent on WhatsApp after the trip. It's a one-time link with a limited lifetime, tied to a specific request. Published reviews are marked as verified.
7. How long we keep data
For as long as we need it to handle your request and improve the service, or until you ask us to delete it.
8. Your rights
At any time you can:
- ask what data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it;
- ask us to delete it;
- unsubscribe from our newsletter.
Just write through the form on the contacts page or at info@mituda.com.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect data from unauthorised access. Still, no website can promise complete protection for data sent over the internet.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this page. The date of the last update is shown at the top. If we make significant changes, we'll announce them on the site.
